My family has been in the baking business since
1935. We started in New York in a small shop
known as Kaplan's Bakery. As a child, I would
watch my family bake in our small shop until I was
old enough to join in the baking process.
I moved from New York to California in 1972, then in
2011 I moved to Coos Bay, Oregon where I live with
my family. After 50 years of baking and trying
other recipes, I continue to use my family's
original recipes, because they are still the best.
I hope you take the same delight when savoring one
of my choice gourmet cheesecakes, cheesecake pies,
fruit pies, danish, cookies, turnovers, strudels,
cinnamon buns or cakes, as I take in making them for
you.
